As a clinical research coordinator for the Institute of Healthcare Innovation, Ms. Besharatian’s primary responsibilities are Conducts informed consent discussions, screening, enrolling, and completing patient’s visits. Trained in phlebotomy, vital sign collection, ECG’s, CPR and specimen processing, Ms. Besharatian reviews patient’s medical history, medication and procedures. She has 10 years research experience in Rheumatology, dermatology, women’s health, dentistry, diabetes, vaccines, and hormonal studies.

In 2019, Ms. Besharatian achieved her ACRP Certification, Association of Clinical Research Professionals. As a clinical research coordinator, performs all functions according to established policies (SOPs), procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. She works closely with PI, Faculty, and delegated staff to perform research studies aligned with protocols. Her mission is to enhance the health of human population through excellence in research across the spectrum of the health sciences.
